What we collect and why

• Booking details — student name, email address, phone number, subject, level, exam board, preferred date and time, and any notes you provide. Used to arrange and deliver your tutoring sessions (legal basis: performance of a contract).
• Communications — the emails and messages you send us. Used to answer questions and provide support (legitimate interests).
• Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and basic usage logs generated when you visit the site. Used for security, fraud prevention and keeping the site working (legitimate interests).
• Tuition records — sessions booked and delivered, and any payment arranged directly with us. We do not collect card details through this website (legal obligation and contract).

Who we share data with

• Service providers such as our website hosting, database and email delivery providers, who process data on our instructions.
• Professional advisers (accounting, legal) where necessary.
• Authorities where we are required to do so by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Booking and correspondence records are kept for as long as needed to provide tutoring and for up to six years afterwards where required for tax and accounting. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Email us and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and restricted database policies, to protect your personal data.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies and equivalent storage needed to run the website. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may then not work.
