These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the tutoring services and website provided by Rex Tutoring ("Rex Tutoring", "we", "us"). By booking a session, purchasing tuition hours or otherwise using this website, you are entering into an agreement with Rex Tutoring and you agree to these terms.
The seller and service provider is Rex Tutoring, a sole trader tutoring business operating in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at rexwintertutoring@gmail.com.
By continuing to use the website or by booking a session, you confirm that you accept these terms. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must review and accept these terms on your behalf and is responsible for payment. If you book on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
Rex Tutoring provides one-to-one online and in-person tutoring for GCSE and A-Level subjects, personal statement support and exam marking. Sessions are booked through this website. The first two hours of tuition are provided free of charge; additional hours are charged at the rate shown at the time of booking.
Booking requests are confirmed by email. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a scheduled session. Sessions missed without notice may be treated as delivered. We will always try to accommodate genuine emergencies.
No payment is taken through this website. Your first two hours of tuition are free. Any further tuition is charged at £25 per hour and arranged directly with Rex Tutoring by email after your session is confirmed. Prices are shown in pounds sterling.
You must not misuse the service. In particular, you must not use it unlawfully; engage in fraud, spam or harassment; infringe anyone's intellectual property; or interfere with the security of the website (including malware, probing, scraping or unauthorised access attempts). You must keep your contact details accurate and any access credentials confidential.
Rex Tutoring retains ownership of the website, teaching materials, worksheets, branding and all related intellectual property. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use materials provided to you for your own study. You may not resell, redistribute or publish them.
We work hard to deliver a high-quality service, but we do not guarantee that the website or tutoring sessions will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not guarantee any particular exam grade or outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages, including lost profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
